As a tax auditor my job involves a lot of travelling to all across the globe in – order to meet clients. I am a travel enthusiast so I always take such trips as a break from my daily schedule and as an opportunity to explore the culture and history of the places that I visit. Recently I visited the beautiful Chi Minh City in Vietnam for a meeting with a client. I was looking forward to this trip hence I made my travel as well as hotel bookings around a month in advance so as to avoid any last minute hassles. I met my client in the board room of the hotel itself. The meeting went quite well and as I had some spare time in hand now I went out to explore the city. I visited the historic Independence Palace which was the prominent government centre of Vietnam during war. The War Remnants Museum is another interesting place which houses a host of war photos and military equipment. I also visited the Saigon Notre – Dame Basilica which is a magnificent European style cathedral that dates back to the 19th century.
