The occasion of my niece's wedding was completely unplanned so the idea of preparation didn’t really settle well with any of my family members here in Bhopal. An Indian household during wedding needs help from as many people as possible so I suggested everyone that we could shop for clothing and carry some jewelry safely along with us as we had just two days to leave and the wedding was in a week. The idea was approved by everyone and so each one of us started gathering everything we could. The train journey and hotel settlement The plan when fixed I immediately booked tickets for my family of the Indore Junction By train. The journey from Bhopal to Indore is not too long thus A.C. chair was fairly comfortable for each one of us. I decided to relax closing my eyes whereas others were busy discussing how everything will be taken care of. Once we reached the station my cousin was there to receive us and take us to the hotel. The groom’s family was from Indore and that was the reason why the wedding was being held here. The Indore hotel we were staying in wasn’t extremely luxurious but still had decent and stylish interiors as well as exteriors. The room I and my wife were staying in was elegant and cozy with fluffy cushions and set of complementary toiletries. The other noticeable factors and facilities were,
We all freshened up and went down for dinner which was in a buffet which gave me options to choose from. Later everyone discussed and willingly agreed to the idea of shopping on the other day. Shopping expedition The place that was decided upon for the day was Kothari Market Indore and Chappan bazaar market Indore. We started from Kothari market which also happens to be a very famous tourist attraction place. The place is situated right in the heart of the city and is extremely huge. On entering inside everyone parted ways and started looking for clothing, accessories etc. The best part about the place was the variety and the bargains. Having done with the shopping, I just bought two pairs of short and was already tired whereas the ladies had more than 2 bags each and they still seemed unsatisfied. I asked them to take a break and other men agreed, we gorged on some tasty local food at the Chhapan bazaar. The place is full of food lovers as it offers huge variety of food stuffs. Chinese or chat you name it and it was there. The lunch was more than satisfying. The shopping session ended with buying fruits and ordering as well as tasting lots of Indian sweets as they were another highlight of every wedding as well as the Bazaar.
